THE POWER OF PRAYER

Image
"Prayer makes a godly man, and puts within him the mind of Christ, the mind of humility, of self-surrender, of service, of pity, and of prayer. If we really pray, we will become more like God, or else we will quit praying. " - E.M. Bounds Do you realize that movements on earth govern movements in heaven? Do you realize that a child of God in prayer affects decisions in heaven? The Lord declared: Matthew 18:18 “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”.    So awesome is this power that it releases angels to do God’s bidding on the earth and binds demons as it destroys the purpose of the enemy! Prayer – A Place of Supernatural Protection "The prayer offered to God in the morning during your quiet time is the key that unlocks the door of the day. Any athlete knows that it is the start that ensures a good finish." - Adrian Rogers Job tells us

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS THAT HEAL

Image
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake. What is the gospel? Answer:  The word gospel literally means “good news”. In Greek, it is the word  euaggelion , from which we get our English words evangelist, evangel, and  envangelical. The gospel is, broadly speaking, the whole of Scripture; more narrowly, the gospel is the good news concerning Christ and the way of salvation. In a day of depressing headlines and uncertainty all around us, good news is very welcome. What better news could there be than as the old hymn says: “The vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives?” When Christians refer to the “Gospel” they a

Things the Blood of Jesus Does

Image
The blood of Jesus has the power to release the grip of the great curse, the ramifications for that are immeasurable. I have provided a list below, along with a single verse for each item, to get you started in your journey through the richness of each glorious truth.  1. My debt is paid, once and for all: “So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” (Hebrew 9:28).  2. I am justified: “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans5:9 3. I am forgiven: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” Ephesians 1:7.  4. I am spared from God’s wrath: “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. “ Romans 5:9.  5. I am being spiritually healed; one day even my flesh will be replaced with an

THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

Image
Only the blood of Jesus can cleanse us, yet if we withhold ourselves from that blood, we will be unclean forever. Aiden Wilson Tozer In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. Epictetus What is it about blood, which we normally think of as grotesque that has caused Christians in every generation to actually  celebrate  it?  Here is just a sampling of the hymns and songs that have been written throughout the ages about the blood of Christ: Nothing But the Blood Are You Washed in the Blood? Oh, the Blood of Jesus Power In the Blood Here are some things from the Bible that help us to see why the blood of Jesus holds such a special place in the hearts of believers: WE GAIN BOLD ACCESS TO GOD IN WORSHIP AND PRAYER The Bible is clear that every person is alienated and separated from God because of our sin (Colossians 1:21).  That means even the best of us are actually unable

I DECLARE DIVINE ACCELERATION OVER YOUR LIFE

Image
I declare unexpected blessings are coming my way. I will move forward from barely making it to having more than enough. God will open up supernatural doors for me. He will speak to the right people about me. I will see Ephesians 3:20, exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond favour and increase in my life. I declare that God will accelerate His plan for my life as I put my trust in Him. I will accomplish my dreams faster than I thought possible. It will not take years to overcome an obstacle, to get out of debt, or to meet the right person. God is doing things faster than before. He will give me victory sooner than I think. He has blessings that will thrust me years ahead. In the first public miracle Jesus ever performed, he turned water into wine at a wedding reception. During this big celebration, the hosts ran out of wine. Jesus mother, Mary, came up and told Him about the problem. “Mom, why are you telling me that? I can’t do anything about it,” Jesus said “My time

THE DECLARATION OF FAITH

Image
I declare that God is bringing about new season of growth. You will not get stagnant and hold on to the old. You will be open to change knowing that God has something better in front of you. New doors of opportunity, new relationship, and new levels of favour are in my future. Sometimes the very things that we fight against, the very things that we think are trying to pull us down, are actually the hand of God trying to push us into a new season. God will stir us out of comfortable situations and He’ll put us in situations that make us stretch-situations that force us to use our faith. We may not like it. It may be uncomfortable. But God loves you too much to just leave you alone. Just as God can supernaturally open doors, sometimes He may supernaturally close doors. Nothing happens by accident. God is directing each of your steps . That means if a friend does you wrong, if you go through setback, if you lose a loved one, you can either embrace that change and God will use

The second Touch of Jesus

Image
Mark 8:25 Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. Many of us are like this blind man:  we’ve seen God’s goodness, He’s helped us to get to where we are, we’re grateful even though we haven’t broken the addiction, accomplished a dream, a child is still off course.  We’re thankful for what God has done; we can say, like the blind man, “He’s made it a whole lot better.” while we should be content where we are, we shouldn’t be satisfied with mediocrity. Too often, we settle for less than God’s best, thinking, “I’ll never break this addiction, but at least I’ve learned to live with it. I’ll never get married, but at least I have a few friends. I’ll never get out debt, but at least I can pay my bills.” you’re right where the blind man was, saying, “everything’s blurry, but at least I can see something. I’m not complaining; I’m satisfied to be better.” Here’s the key; you may be satisfied, but God is
