William Augustine

No matter how diligent we are or how hard we try, we cannot do it alone, there are things that we just cannot handle without Jesus Christ . Justin Jepsen Jesus' life released God's power and authority to teach, do miracles, heal the sick and cast out devils.    Rosa Suen, Jesus is the good news of the gospel. What He is doing in your life today is good news, and there will come a day when the good news of His return will spread faster than any invention of man can imagine.   Denise Lorenz, Proverbs 22:1 A  good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold ." The name of Jesus is above every name! We are to pray in His name, give thanks in His name, and His name gives us His power! If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or struggling in any way, my prayer is that you find the strength and power you need in these quotes and verses about the name of Jesus! Jesus Chris...

“when we have been brought very low and helped, sorely wounded and healed, cast down and raised again, have given up all hope--and been suddenly snatched from danger, and placed in safety; and when these things have been repeated to us and in us a thousand times over, we begin to learn to trust simply to the word and power of God, beyond and against appearances”  John Newton God is God. Because He is God, He is worthy of my trust and obedience. I will find rest nowhere but in His holy will, a will that is unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to. –  Elisabeth Elliot The faithfulness of God is true and has been proven many times. In the Holy Scriptures, we can see that God is faithful and His Word is true. Hebrew 6:18 says God cannot lie, nor can He break an unconditional promise that He says He will fulfill. Every covenant He made is kept. Every promise or foretelling has or will come true. Testimony after testimony of God’s faithfulness ...

Healthy, happy people think about what they want, and how to get it, most of the time. Developing a positive attitude can truly change your entire life. When you think and talk about what you want and how to get it, you feel happier and in greater control of your life. When you think about something that makes you happy, your brain actually  releases endorphins , which give you a generalized feeling of well-being. As a result, you develop a positive attitude. Happy people seem to have a special quality that enables them to live a better life than the average. Happy people have the quality of optimism ! The best news about optimism is that it is a learnable quality. By the law of cause and effect, if you do and say what other healthy, happy people do and say, you will soon feel the same way, get the same results, and enjoy the same positive attitude and experiences that they do. Happy People Find Good In The World Optimists seem to have different ways of dealing wit...

If we don't plant the right things, we will reap the wrong things. It goes without saying. And you don't have to be, you know, a brilliant biochemist and you don't have to have an IQ of 150. Just common sense tells you to be kind, ninny, fool. Be kind . Maya Angelou Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come. Henri Nouwen What kind of seeds have you been sowing lately? Even though not many of us are farmers or gardeners, all of us are sowers and reapers. There are some important principles about sowing and reaping which we need to understand.  Galatians 6:7 states the first principle very clearly: Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.  Thus,...

Keep on speaking God's word over whatever it is that needs changing in your life and if you are faithful you will see God begin to work in your favor.  Grant Dean It is true that a prayer that comes from the heart can move mountains; it increases your faith, and brings you closer to God.   Rebecca Small FAITH THAT MOVE MOUNTAINS “Have faith in God! If you have faith in God and don’t doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will. Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith.” Mark 11:22-24 Faith opens the door to miracles. If you study the Bible and history, you find that every time God moves on Earth and does a miracle, it’s because somebody believed. Jesus said in Mark 11:22-24, “Have faith in God! If you have faith in God and don’t doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will. Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith”...

"We may love to say many things, but if these are not uttered in the Holy Spirit it is better to say nothing. The flesh can conjure up many plans and methods and be full of expectations. The righteousness of the flesh is as abhorrent as its sin we must always maintain God's view of the flesh."   - Watchman Nee "God commands us to be filled with the Spirit, and if we are not filled, it is because we are living beneath our privileges."  - Dwight L. Moody God’s Holy Spirit in us, as Christians, is our greatest gift from God. When we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit we receive the gift and the giver, because the gift is the giver. The Holy Spirit is our unity with God, our source of communication from God, and the guarantee that we are His children.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father....
