Tips that will help you to choose the right partner

Keep Jesus First in your life. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you including a right mate (Matthew 6:33). Love God with all your heart. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desire of thine heart. Trust in God for a right mate and you will have it (Psalm 37:4,5). When you seek God with all your heart, God will give you a right mate.
Ask God definitely for a right mate: Pray for God to bless you with a right mate. Ask, and it shall be given unto you;… (Matthew 7:7). This mean we must keep asking God for a right mate.  Ask of Me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. (Psalm 2:8)  When God answer you with a wonderful mate you will enjoy your married. A lot of People want easy way to be married without spending their time and pray for the right mate, that why a lot of families are collapsing.
Believe God for a right mate: The process that you use to believe God for other things that you are looking for, apply the same process when you are seeking for a right mate. Find some scripture and apply it when you are praying e.g. Proverbs 18:22, 19:14 Matthew 7:7. To have the right mate is a favour from God then, ask God to favour you with a right mate. Live to believe God that he will answer you with a right mate.
Knowing that married is not an escape mechanism: don’t think to married because you want to escape from your parent or sibling trouble. If you try to treat married as escape mechanism you will fall in the same hand you are trying to escape. Go into married with the mind of love and with readiness to work out your married.
Be led by the Holy Spirit: physical things like Houses, Cars, good career…. All these are good but would not give you the right mate. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you. They are two things that make up who you married: what you see about the person and what you don’t see about the person. When Adam sees Eve he said this is the flesh of my flesh and the burns of my burns. You can see and torch the flesh but you can’t see the burns and remember the burns are the pillars of the body. Don’t allow your flesh to choose by what he has; good job, cars, good figure in the bank, the family background and so on all these things are good but they will not tell you about the future. When you allow God to take charge of your life, the Holy Spirit will give you a right mate. God is in charge of those things that you cannot see. God is in charge of the future so trust Him for a wonderful mate.
Understand the season of your life: To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1) God take our life through season not years. Understand the season of your life. When your season passes you stop going around. When the right person come to you in your season and you reject him you will be the one going after him in future. If you discover your season has passes, ask God for a second chance, bring your standard down-don’t comprises yourself, ask for extra help from your counselor or pastor, be approachable, be accessible, be attractive, stop moving around with married people, pray about and be yourself.

When certain don’t procrastinate: when the right person that you know already that he will come and ask you for a relationship don’t procrastinate to accept him. And make it clear to those that are not the best for to stop coming to you. When you accept him without delay or try to play him before you accept him it does not make you cheap. And any person that regard you so cheap give him/her a red card and believe God for the right person and God will send the right person to you.
